What Is TK?

Transitional Kindergarten is designed for those children whose birthday misses the cutoff date for Kindergarten, or could benefit greatly from additional social maturation or skill development before entering Kindergarten.

TK children will be placed with others of like age and provided with a rich curriculum, more rigorous than the year before. With the extra year of social development, physical growth and academic achievement, they will be more than ready for Kindergarten the next year.
