Outside of the Classroom

We believe it is essential to learn outside the classroom, connecting book concepts to real life.  Our elementary students participate in a host of educational field trips, such as the Chumash Indian Museum, Marine Floating Lab, Leonis Adobe, San Fernando de Espana Mission, California Science Center, Jet Propulsion Lab and Underwood Farms.  Students are also responsible for our outdoor garden, learning about the lifecycle of organisms and culminating in our agricultural fair.
