Philosophy & Values
Our philosophy is to educate the whole child through a hands-on, interactive approach. The following five values permeate our school through every department and guide our approach to education.
Quality
As a private, independent school, we are able to seek out the highest-quality teachers who create a dynamic learning environment for our students. Small class sizes, individualized attention, and constant communication between faculty and families ensure that our students are given the resources to succeed.
Enrichment
When children can pursue their interests, they develop a positive sense of self, build camaraderie, learn to express themselves productively, and harness a love of learning. At Phoenix Ranch, we encourage students to dive deep into their passions. Thus, we offer an extensive list of enrichment classes, clubs, and teams, including Band, Choir, Robotics, Coding and Friday Book Clubs. Our afterschool enrichment options include cheer, soccer, basketball and gymnastics.
Character
While academics are a central focal point of our program, we also know that we are molding citizens of the world. Our mission is to instill in our students a sense of caring and generosity for others, positive self-esteem, appreciation for our planet, and a never-ending thirst for learning.
Community
At its core, Phoenix Ranch is a family. From parent involvement to all-school celebrations, our community is tight-knit and supportive. This sense of comfort gives our students the support they need as they face new challenges and gives our staff members the desire to make this school their home for many years.
Safety
In today's harsh world, we seek to create a haven for children. We make a safe environment for children to thrive through security training, continuous investment in our facility, and a zero-tolerance policy for bullying.
