Phoenix Ranch was founded in 1987 in response to the demand for a quality, secular education in Simi Valley.  The School flourished and not only became a fixture of the Simi Valley neighborhood, but also a draw for many surrounding areas, such as Thousand Oaks, Moorpark and the San Fernando Valley.

Due to the increasing demand, Phoenix Ranch expanded in 2015, taking on a new campus located at the former Pinecrest School on Cochran Street.  A major impetus for the expansion was to provide space for a new Infant & Toddler Center, providing a much needed service to many parents in the area, as well as a larger athletics space for our older students.  As of the 2021-2022 school year, all classes will be located on this campus. We may be bigger than before, but our tight-knit culture will always be a hallmark of Phoenix Ranch!
