Preschool Extended Care
Activities such as arts and crafts, games and play, and indoor learning games and activities are part the extended day program from 4:00-6:30 P.M.
After School “Ranch Club”
In the afternoon, extended care for the elementary school (K-5th grade) begins at 3:00 P.M. and concludes at 6:30 P.M. Activities include a homework study hall period for children in first grade (about 15 minutes) through fifth grade (about 60 minutes); study hall length of time depends on grade level. Afterschool kindergarten students begin their day with a rotation of activities including arts and crafts, sports and games, and special events and activities planned each month. Following study hall, older students begin a rotation of age appropriate arts and crafts, sports, and supervised play, as well as special and theme activities planned each month by our Ranch Club Director. Middle School students are dismissed at 3:15 P.M. daily and take a fifteen minute supervised break with snack, followed by a 60-75 minute study hall. Students then participate in sports and games and supervised free play.
Students in preschool are all served a morning and afternoon snack. Morning snack is served at 9:45-10:00 A.M. and afternoon snack is served at 3:15-3:30. The snack menu is posted at the preschool. Snack for Club (elementary and middle school) includes light refreshments such as pretzels or cookies, and juice or water served between 3:15 and 4:00 P.M.
